The campaign is part of AAN’s Middle Class Growth Initiative.
American Action Network announced a $2.5 million ad buy on Wednesday that will encourage members of Congress to support the GOP’s tax reform efforts.
The ads feature Lindsay & Jim Pratt, two Americans trying to maintain a middle class family in the current economic climate.
“America’s tax code is too complicated. So a little tax relief from Congress with a simpler, fairer tax code gives working families like ours peace of mind,” Jim says. “Closing tax loopholes ensures everyone pays their fair share.”
Lindsay then touts how lower taxes for middle class families would help Americans pay their bills and save money.
The gemeral ad ends with a request for viewers to call their congressperson to urge them to support tax reform.
But AAN is running representative-specific ads will thank various congresspeople for their support of the effort with a personalized ending.
For example, this ad encourages Rep. Jim Jordan’s (R-OH) constituents to call and thank him:
