The conservative group began running the ad to thank congressional Republicans.
The American Action Network (AAN) began an ad campaign asking constituents to thank their congressmen for supporting the GOP’s repeal and replacement of Obamacare.
The ad features a mother discussing how her family had lost their health insurance under Obamacare’s rising costs.
“House Republicans are keeping their word and fixing our broken health care system,” she said.
The ad and mother then tout the goals of the GOP plan: “More competition and choices resulting in lower costs and better coverage. Families get tax credits to make insurance cheaper and people with pre-existing conditions are protected.”
The ad ended by asking voters to thank congressional Republicans for their support of the American Health Care Act.
