On Friday, The New York Post editorial board wrote a column titled, “New York City needs Hillary Clinton to run for mayor.”
The column said, “For what it’s worth, Secretary Clinton, we’d love to see you run for mayor. New York City needs you.”
The panel on NBC’s “Meet The Press” discussed the possibility of Clinton running for mayor, a notion which Clinton’s camp has not dismissed.
“Boy, it would be a terrible idea,” MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell said.
NBC’s Chuck Todd, however, thinks that Clinton’s no comment is revenge for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s delayed endorsement of Clinton during the 2016 presidential election.
