Mitchell brought up the time that Putin brought his large dog into a meeting with Merkel.
Discussing Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intimidation techniques, MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell brought up the time that Putin brought his large dog into a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Merkel has been terrified of dogs since being attacked by one in 1995, but this did not stop Mitchell from enjoying the images of intimidation.
Looking at photos of the meeting, Mitchell could barely contain her delight.
“Look at that picture,” she said, stifling laughter.
“That’s a very large labrador, by the way,” Mitchell added as she laughed.
“Look at Merkel’s face!” she exclaimed.
Analysts on Mitchell’s panel discussed how Putin would use people’s deepest fears to intimidate them during meetings.
