MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell reported that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will discuss Russia’s interference in the 2016 election in his meeting with Russian officials this week.
“We have been told that [Tillerson] is going to raise the Russian hacking, and that is dramatically different from anything the President said,” Mitchell said.
“Tillerson is completely in sync with what all the intelligence agencies have said about [the hacking],” she added.
The Kremlin has repeatedly denied any involvement in cyber attacks during the 2016 presidential election, contrary to U.S. intelligence reports.
