Trump has a closer relationship with Benjamin Netanyahu than any of his predecessors, Mitchell said.
MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell said on Monday that President Trump’s relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is closer than any previous United States president.
“There is not a rift between Netanyahu and Trump,” Mitchell reported.
Many media outlets have reported that there may be a rift between President Trump and the Israeli leader after Trump allegedly shared classified intelligence given to the United States by Israel with Russian Foreign Minster Sergey Lavrov during a recent Oval Office visit.
Mitchell concluded: “President Trump is the closest American leader to Benjamin Netanyahu of any of his predecessors. There was certainly a terrible relationship with President Obama.”
