The socialist senator begrudgingly admitted that middle America would benefit from the Trump plan.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) admitted on CNN on Sunday that President Trump’s tax plan would help the middle class.
“It is possible that some people depending on the standard deduction, depending on the earned income tax credit, and how many children you have in your family, it is possible that some middle-class families may make some gains,” Sanders told CNN’s Jake Tapper.
The Vermont senator has been stridently opposed to the tax plan, calling it “morally repugnant.”
