Americans, despite their political differences, are coming together to try to hold Hillary Clinton to account.
Outside a Hillary Clinton book tour event in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Tuesday night, supporters of both Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and President Trump joined forces to protest the failed presidential candidate.
The Trump supporters, holding signs that asked “What happened in Benghazi?” or referenced other Clinton scandals, were standing outside the event when supporters of Sanders walked up to engage the Trumpists.
Instead of arguing over the obvious political differences they may have, the two groups began taking pictures with each other.
“You Trump people are a lot better-mannered than the Hillary people,” one Bernie supporter remarked.
Another Sanders supporter pulled up with a cardboard cutout of Clinton, upon which she had written summaries of the former secretary of state’s various scandals.
Eventually, the Sanders supporters unveiled a large banner calling Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), the former chair of the Democratic National Committee, “Corrupt!”
The Trump supporters helped Sanders supporters hold up the Wasserman Schultz banner.
