On Monday, the members of the Electoral College meet across the country to formally elect Donald Trump as president. In New York, electors got a special surprise guest: former President Bill Clinton.
Bill Clinton made news on Monday for telling a local newspaper earlier this month Donald Trump “doesn’t know much,” but “one thing he does know is how to get angry, white men to vote for him.”
The electors gave the former president a standing ovation. No doubt, Clinton probably thought he would be attending an Electoral College meeting like this under different circumstances.
