The Senate Republican was unusually animated when discussing the leaks coming out of the White House.
Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) said on Thursday the Trump administration should fire all the leakers, after the contents of President Trump’s conversations with the Australian prime minister and Mexican president leaked to the press.
Corker said that he has encouraged the president and Chief of Staff John Kelly “to fire every single person that’s had anything to do whatsoever with backbiting, undermining other people for their own benefit, or leaking and not to be cautious about it!”
“If there’s even a thought that somebody was involved, get rid of them!” he exclaimed as he waved his arms. “These people should be fired! They should be out of government. They’re disloyal to our government.”
