Brzezinski: “Far from Unprecedented” for a President to Dismiss U.S. Attorneys

On Monday, MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski added her name to the growing list of people who don’t find it unusual that President Trump is dismissing U.S. attorneys appointed by President Obama.

“Well, the Trump administration has dismissed dozens of Obama-era prosecutors at the Justice Department. On Friday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions asked all remaining 46 U.S. attorneys appointed by President Obama to submit their registrations. While the announcement was abrupt, it’s far from unprecedented,” Brzezinski said while reading the story on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

Brzezinski went on to cite how when Bill Clinton assumed office in 1993 he “cleaned house.”
