Stephen Hadley, the former National Security Advisor to President George W. Bush, appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe to discuss President-elect Donald Trump’s transition.
MSNBC contributor Mike Barnicle asked Hadley if it bothered him that Trump does not take daily intelligence briefings.
“You know, it really doesn’t. He’s not President of the United States yet,”
Hadley told Barnicle. “He’s been focusing on putting together his Cabinet and the agency and department heads that are going to help him govern this country. That’s really what he should be doing.”
“We’ve made too much of that at this point quite frankly,” Hadley concluded.
