A new CNN poll found that Republicans, Democrats, and Independents all want tax reform.
According to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, 68 percent of American want tax reform. This new poll follows a survey from American Action Network (ANN), which also found majority support for tax reform.
The CNN poll found that 35 percent of Americans want a complete overhaul of the federal income tax system, while 33 percent want major changes to the federal income tax system.
The desire for compressive tax reform cut across party lines with 77 percent of Republicans, 70 percent of independents, and 62 percent of Democrats saying they want tax reform.
ANN released a survey on Tuesday that showed 7 in 10 Americans want Congress to make passing comprehensive tax reform a top priority.
President Trump is expected to unveil parts of his tax reform plan in Indiana on Wednesday.
