The Police chief said that the heroic officers are doing better after being shot.
Capitol Police Chief Matthew Verderosa said that the officers who were injured in the shooting in Alexandria Wednesday morning “are in good condition.”
Verderosa thanked the various agencies and organizations helping with the investigation and response.
He described the injuries inflicted to police officers as “not life-threatening.”
“As we get more information, we’ll be working through the FBI and our local partners in the Alexandria police to provide more details as they become available,” Verderosa concluded.
