Chelsea Clinton hit the campaign trail for her mother, jet-setting across North Carolina on Wednesday.
At an event in Greenville, NC, a former Bernie Sanders (I-VT) delegate asked what moral ground does Hillary Clinton have to stand on to continue running as the Democratic nominee. This question followed reports that the Democratic National Committee favored Clinton over Sanders in the Democratic primary and pay-for-play allegations involving the Clinton Foundation, two significant headwinds for the Democratic nominee.
Chelsea dodged the question, prompting the Sanders support to interject. The audio quality is not clear enough to determine what the Sanders supporter said, but the former First Daughter responded, “Well, I have answered your question.”
