The CNN host said that the show does go after President Trump too much, but the president should rise above it.
CNN host Chris Cuomo said on Friday that MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” is not a news show, a day after President Trump attacked its hosts, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski.
Cuomo also called the hosts “yappers on TV,” and he said there is a “pretty constructive case” that they go after the president too much.
“But they’re commentators. [“New Day”] is a news show, [“Morning Joe”] isn’t. It’s an opinion show,” Cuomo said.
However, Cuomo said that those around the president need to discourage him from attacking television hosts in the future.
