Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer forgot Thursday at an anti-Puzder press conference what ‘P’ stands for in the Senate HELP Committee.
Criticizing President Trump’s nominees who have had to testify before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, Schumer listed off the committee’s affairs before stalling on ‘P.’
“The administration has put up nominees who are so antithetical to what America has stood for on Health, ‘H,’ ‘E,’ Education, and ‘L,’ Labor,” Schumer said.
“What’s P?” Schumer asked the ranking member on the HELP Committee, Senator Patty Murray (D-WA).
“Pensions,” Schumer exclaimed when finally receiving the answer.
To be fair, Schumer correctly named 75% of the Committee’s affairs correctly, so we’ll give him a ‘C.’
