Following the firing of the FBI Director by President Trump, Chuck Todd pointed out how many in Washington had lost confidence in Comey.
NBC’s Chuck Todd pointed out how both Republicans and Democrats had lost confidence in FBI Director James Comey’s ability to do the job, following news that Comey had been fired on Tuesday.
“The fact is Director Comey had lost confidence with members of both sides of the aisle in the United States Senate,” Todd reported.
Todd went on to tell NBC’s Lester Holt how 20 minutes before the announcement he had spoken with Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), who wouldn’t say he had confidence in Comey.
