In recent weeks President-elect Donald Trump has expressed skepticism regarding information gathered by the Intelligence Community regarding Russian hacking and its impact on the 2016 election.
Director of National Intelligence James Clapper testified in front of the Senate Armed Services Committee on Thursday and admitted, “The intelligence Community is not perfect. We are an organization of human beings, and we’re prone sometimes to make errors.”
Clapper went on to say, “I don’t think the Intelligence Community gets the credit it’s due for what it does day in and day out to keep this nation safe and secure.”
