Responding to a series of questions from Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said that it was appropriate for President-elect Donald Trump to challenge the intelligence community’s findings on Russian hacking.
Graham’s questions centered around an upcoming meeting between Trump and intelligence officials, scheduled to take place Friday. “You’re going to be challenged tomorrow by the President-elect. Are you ok with being challenged…Do you think it’s appropriate?” Graham asked Clapper.
Clapper responded in the affirmative to both questions.
