CNN discussed the attacks on Tuesday.
A CNN panel highlighted 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s new attacks on her primary opponent Bernie Sanders, which will appear in her new book, “What Happened,” during a Tuesday segment.
“On issue after issue, it was like [Sanders] kept promising four-minute abs, or even no-minute abs. Magic abs!” Clinton wrote in her book.
The CNN panel said that Sanders had hindered her campaign, but pointed out that she only had her own decisions to thank for the problems.
“She’s right that Senator Bernie Sanders hurt her. What she doesn’t acknowledge there, and we’ll see if she does in the whole manuscript, is that they were her decisions that Bernie Sanders seized upon,” CNN’s Jeff Zeleny said.
The New York Times’s Jonathan Martin added that Clinton was reopening “raw” wounds inside the Democratic Party.
Clinton also accused Sanders of paving the way for Donald Trump’s ‘Crooked Hillary’ attacks.
