CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin said that senators were “so bad” at asking questions.
CNN analysts questioned the significance of former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee as Comey sat down before the committee on Thursday.
Jeffrey Toobin, a former federal prosecutor, accused members of the committee of grandstanding during their question time.
“It is disgraceful how bad these senators are at asking questions,” he said.
“If this were a serious fact-finding effort, it would be done by committee counsel and not by the Senate,” another analyst added.
“Absolutely,” Toobin concurred.
