CNN’s Chris Cuomo previously implied in a tweet that news shows should not book Kellyanne Conway. She appeared on his show this morning.
In February, New Day host Chris Cuomo seemed to agree with criticism of White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway and indicated she would not be booked on his CNN show.
Last month, a Twitter user asked Cuomo if at some point producers would stop inviting certain commentators due to “a lack of confidence in credibility,” prompting Cuomo’s response.
Cuomo retweeted that user’s message, adding, “You see her on @NewDay?”

On Monday, Conway appeared on New Day to be interviewed by none other than Chris Cuomo.
Cuomo and Conway discussed President Trump’s accusation that the Obama administration wiretapped Trump Tower during the 2016 campaign.
“I’m not Inspector Gadget. I don’t believe people are using the microwave to spy on the Trump campaign,” Conway said.
When Chris Cuomo quoted a news story reporting the contrary, Conway pointed to innacuracies in that reporting to discredit the story.
Conway then called herself “great clickbait” and despite Cuomo’s previous resistance, CNN seems to agree.
