On Wednesday, during CNN’s Inside Politics, John King pointed out that Hillary Clinton still doesn’t have a clear economic message five days before the election. “If you ask somebody in 30 seconds, describe what Hillary Clinton view on the economy is, still hasn’t gotten there,” King said.
CNN senior reporter Nia-Malika Henderson agreed.
“No, I think that’s right. And she switched back and forth between stronger together. That’s her banner. Talks about, oh, when they go low, we go high. There isn’t anything compelling.”
Hillary Clinton’s lack of a clear economic message is something her campaign has struggled with since the primary and an issue that may be deterring Bernie Sanders supporters from backing her.
