Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Tom Perez and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) are going across the country on a ‘Unity Tour,’ which aims to build grassroots activism in purple and red states by holding rallies.
The first stop was in Portland, Maine didn’t get off to a great start with the crowd booing DNC Chair Perez when a speaker mentioned his name.
However, when the speaker mentioned Sanders’ name the crowd erupted into chants of “Bernie, Bernie, Berine.”
It would appear that the DNC has a long way to go before they win over Sanders supporters.
