Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) said during The Atlantic‘s Washington Ideas Forum on Tuesday that she gets furious when people accuse President Trump’s supporters of being racist, because they aren’t.
“I get furious when people say all Trump voters are racist, they’re not,” Dingell said, during a question about Hillary Clinton’s new book “What Happened.”
Dingell went on to say that people are scared and that Democrats need to understand economic anxiety.
