In exclusive video obtained by NTK Network, North Carolina Democrat and Senate candidate Deborah Ross was asked, “Do you consider yourself a socialist?” The question follows Tuesday’s news that Ross was endorsed by America’s most famous socialist, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
Ross refused to answer the question, and instead walks right by the questioner and into a campaign event.
Ross’ refusal to answer is notable because her campaign is attempting to win a statewide race in North Carolina, a state with a center-right electoral history. In the 2016 presidential primary, Sanders lost the North Carolina primary to Hillary Clinton by more than 150,000 votes.
