Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) refused to say whether or not he would support expelling Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) from the Senate in an appearance on “Fox News Sunday.”

Asked about the senator’s corruption charges by Fox News host Chris Wallace, Van Hollen told viewers that he wants to let the jury process play out.

“We’re going to leave this decision to the jury, and I’m not going to get ahead of the game,” Val Hollen said.

“The people on the jury will have to look at the facts, just like people in Alabama will have to look at the facts, and they’ll have to render a decision,” he added, referencing recent allegations against GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore.

“I’m not going to speculate what the outcome of that jury decision will be,” the senator concluded.
