Dem Senator Praises Linda McMahon’s Nomination To The Small Business Administration

On Wednesday, Donald Trump nominated Linda McMahon to lead the Small Business Administration (SBA). McMahon is the former CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), who defeated McMahon in a very contentious Senate race in 2012, appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe to discuss Trump’s nominations. He praised the pick of McMahon.

“She’s unquestionably qualified for this job,” Murphy told MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough about McMahon. “I think of all the potential picks for the SBA, Linda McMahon would have been at the top of my list, and I’ll be supporting her when she comes before the Senate.”
