Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) told the Greater North Dakota Chamber she wasn’t sent to the Senate to just say no.
Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) told the Greater North Dakota Chamber of Commerce on Friday that she thinks Democrats who are part of the ‘resistance’ movement are just wasting time.
“Two things that are happening that I think really challenge us, one is the resist movement,” Heitkamp told the chamber while discussing the American Health Care Act (AHCA).
The “resist movement” refers to Democrats who refuse to work with President Trump on any legislation.
Heitkamp then said she thinks it is a waste of her time to just say no to everything that President Trump proposes, and that this argument is not persuasive.
