“In my opinion, he didn’t do enough,” Rep. Jim Himes told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” on Tuesday.
Rep. Jim Himes (D-CA) on Tuesday said that he didn’t believe President Obama did enough to deal with Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election during an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
NBC’s Willie Geist asked Himes about a Washington Post report in which an unnamed Obama administration official told the Post that the administration “sort of choked” in dealing with Russian hacking and whether Himes agreed with that.
“I agree with that,” Himes told Geist before trying to defend the limited action that Obama did take to deal with Russian interference in the election.
“But he didn’t do enough, congressman, did he?” MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough interjected.
“In my opinion, he didn’t do enough,” Himes responded.
