The vice chair of the House Democratic Caucus wouldn’t make definitive comments about Rep. Al Green’s plan to hold a press conference on the impeachment of President Trump.
Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus Linda Sanchez would not offer a definitive response to Rep. Al Green’s (D-TX) plan to hold a press conference on Wednesday on the process of impeaching President Trump.
“We share the concerns about the daily information that we receive about the investigation into Russian ties, potentially with the Trump campaign and the administration,” Sanchez said, when asked about Green’s plan.
Sanchez said that it is her belief that the “overwhelming” majority of Democrats want to wait for the conclusion of the investigation before making a determination on possible impeachment.
Pressed on the optics of Green’s press conference Sanchez again dodged, saying she can only speak for herself.
