On Monday, Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz said that the leaking of classified information is a “very, very, serious” problem during an interview on CNN’s New Day.
Dershowitz was discussing how President Trump recently tweeted that the FBI must find the person that has been leaking out classified information to reporters, ahead of FBI Director James Comey testifying on the Hill.
“[President Trump] also in one of his tweets talked about the leaking of classified material, and I happened to think that can be very, very serious,” Dershowitz told CNN’s Chris Cuomo.
“In general, we should be doing something about stopping the leaking of classified material by people who have an agenda, and that’s an issue I think Congress should be looking into,” Dershowitz concluded.
