Former Governor Ed Rendell (D-PA) appeared on MSNBC to discuss the first Presidential debate taking place Monday evening at Hofstra University.
MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson asked Rendell what advice he has given Hillary Clinton regarding optics and how Clinton could improve her public perception.
“I actually agree with Reince Priebus, smile more,” Rendell told Jackson.
Jackson seemed stunned by Rendell’s comments, noting that those remarks could be considered “gender criticism.”
