Elizabeth Warren Reflexively Attacks Trump Just Hours After MOAB Drop on ISIS

The so-called “Mother of All Bombs” killed 36 ISIS fighters and struck a network of underground tunnels used by the terrorist network

Sen. Elizabeth Warren openly questioned the strategy employed by President Donald Trump and top military officials just hours after the U.S. dropped the so-called “mother of all bombs” on an ISIS stronghold in Afghanistan.

“He’s gotta come in and explain himself,” Warren told the friendly crowd of attendees. “What exactly is his plan here?”

“I want to hear more from the generals out in the field about why they thought this was the right bomb and this was the right moment,” Warren told reporters after the event.

The comments came at a town hall in Salem, Massachusetts, and they echo remarks the senator made after Trump launched 59 Tomahawk missiles at an air base in Syria. Days earlier, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had used chemicals weapons to kill his own civilians, including women and children.

In response to the Syrian attack, Warren tweeted:

Warren’s reflexive anti-Trump mentality, thus far, reveals she may be unwilling to go along with any military action taken by the president. That very well could put her at odds with U.S. national security and the desires of the American people, if it continues.
