Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said that she was “troubled” that former President Barack Obama had reportedly accepted a $400,000 speaking fee from Wall Street during an interview on Thursday.
Warren made the remarks on Sirius Radio’s “Radio Andy” touting her new book “This Fight Is Our Fight: The Battle to Save America’s Middle Class.”
One of the hosts asked Warren what she thought about Obama’s $400,000 speaking fee for a Wall Street conference in September.
“Well, I was troubled by that,” Warren responded, before redirecting the conversation back to her book and the influence big money has on American politics.
