FBI Uncovered Russian Collusion – Involving the Clintons?

A bombshell report shows that the Obama administration knew of bribery efforts before selling uranium production to Russia.

A Tuesday bombshell from The Hill found the Obama administration knew of Russian efforts to bribe U.S. officials with power over a uranium deal that would give Moscow control over a fifth of U.S. uranium production, before approving the deal.

More shocking, though, the bribery effort involved former President Bill Clinton and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton:

They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill.

According to the report, the FBI determined that Vadim Mikerin, the Moscow-anointed agent “overseeing Putin’s nuclear expansion inside the United States,” made efforts to funnel millions of dollars to officials with influence over the deal.

Despite the Obama Justice Department knowing of the bribery campaign, the White House approved the deal:

The Obama administration and the Clintons defended their actions at the time, insisting there was no evidence that any Russians or donors engaged in wrongdoing and there was no national security reason for any member of the committee to oppose the Uranium One deal.

But FBI, Energy Department and court documents reviewed by The Hill show the FBI in fact had gathered substantial evidence well before the committee’s decision that Vadim Mikerin — the main Russian overseeing Putin’s nuclear expansion inside the United States — was engaged in wrongdoing starting in 2009.

Even then-Attorney General Eric Holder was involved in the approval of the deal, and his oversight of the Justice Department raises questions about why he thought the deal was appropriate.

President Trump raised the issue of the uranium sale throughout the 2016 campaign, and the Clintons denied that anything improper took place. Politifact gave the claim a “Mostly False” rating, but this new report may compel them to change that rating.
