Organizers for the left-wing group compared the fast food restaurant to Donald Trump.
At a forum of minimum wage organizers in Chicago on Monday, activists compared McDonald’s, the fast food restaurant, to President Trump.
“We’re saying that McDonald’s is the Donald Trump of corporations,” the moderator said.
The rest of the panel agreed.
“What does that mean?” she asked the panel.
Much of the forum was inaudible, but the first answer discussed the horrid working conditions and low pay at McDonald’s.
Prior to comparing a fast food restaurant to the president of the United States, the activists discussed their goals beyond a $15 minimum wage, including unionization and a larger voice in employee issues.
