Former Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) on Tuesday said that she wasn’t confident that Democrats would retake the Senate in 2018 during an interview on the Tavis Smiley show.
Smiley asked Boxer if she thought it was likely that Democrats could retake Congress in 2018, given President Trump’s poor poll numbers.
“I think we have a real shot at the House. The Senate is a tough map,” Boxer told Smiley. “But we have a good shot at the House, so we’re working very hard.”
