Former NATO Supreme Allied Commander James Stavridis appeared on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports to discuss the recent Berlin terrorist attack on Wednesday.
Andrea Mitchell asked Stavridis how difficult it would to find the terrorist responsible for the attack given his head start.
“[It’s] going to be very difficult,” Stavridis told Mitchell. “The real challenge in Europe is that anybody can cross the borders in the so-called Schengen zone. So there’s really no border patrol, if you will. No place to check.”
