Former Ambassador Nicholas Burns slammed the Obama administration for its weak response to Russian hacking during the 2016 election at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on Wednesday.
“President Obama in my own view should have been more transparent and specific with the American people during the campaign about the nature of the Russian threat,” Burns said. “He should have acted earlier and much more vigorously.”
