In an appearance on MSNBC, former Democratic New Mexico Governor and Clinton Energy Secretary Bill Richardson called BuzzFeed’s report that Donald Trump had been compromised by Russia, “false allegations.”
“I’ve yet to find something nice to say about the President-elect… however on this one, they are false allegations,” Richardson said.
“These are unsubstantiated…. when [Trump] whines about what was said about him that’s unsubstantiated, I kind of think he’s got a point,” Richardson added.
Richardson expressed hope that the media would refocus on Trump’s policies, saying, “We should be focusing on what he wants to do with national security, the economy, Syria.”
