Former Senior Advisor to President Obama, Stephanie Cutter said that she doesn’t believe that it’s President Trump’s job to keep the promises he made to the American public while he was campaigning during an interview on Thursday.
“I think it would be nice if this President took the time to govern rather than checking things off, of promises he made, and unable to keep on the campaign trail,” Cutter told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell during a discussion about President Trump tax reform plan.
Cutter knows firsthand what it’s like to work for a president who did not deliver on his campaign promises. President Obama was unable to fulfill several key campaign promises he had made before leaving office.
