“Tell Nancy Pelosi: Deliver tax cuts for working families and job creators,” a mobile DC billboard purchased by a GOP group reads.
The American Action Network (AAN) a Republican outside group aligned with Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) is using a mobile DC billboard to urge House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to support tax reform ahead of her CNN town hall on Wednesday.
According to The Hill, one side of the billboard reads, “Over 50 percent of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.”
“Tell Nancy Pelosi: Deliver tax cuts for working families and job creators,” the other side of the billboard reads.
The billboard was purchased to coincide with CNN’s town hall with Pelosi on Wednesday evening.
AAN has been very active in the tax reform fight, having already spent $8 million on ads that promote the Republican tax reform effort.
“It’s unfortunate that Nancy Pelosi and Washington Democrats have resorted to fake math in hopes of derailing tax cuts for middle-class families,” Corry Bliss the executive director of AAN said in a statement regarding the advertising push. “Over 50 percent of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. It’s now time for Congress to give families and job creators tax relief.”
