During an interview on CNN, Hillary Clinton’s press secretary Brian Fallon was asked if Clinton had prepared a concise answer to address her email scandal, should the topic be brought up in tonight’s presidential debate.
“I think that she will reiterate her sense of regret that she has expressed pretty consistently over the last year,” Fallon told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota. “She’s apologized for it. I think she’ll do the same if it comes up tonight.”
Despite Fallon’s claim, Clinton took months to apologize to the American public for her email scandal and only did so under immense pressure from the media.
Fallon spent the rest of his answer attacking GOP nominee Donald Trump and brought up reports that Trump has questionable business ties with Russia.
