Sen. Rand Paul an outspoken critic of President Trump appears to be a big fan of “The Art of the Deal.”
It seems that Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is a big fan of President Trump’s best-selling book “Trump: The Art of the Deal.”
Republican strategist Mark McKinnon was in DC filming an upcoming episode of Showtime’s The Circus and tweeted a couple of pictures.
One of the photos shows McKinnon sitting down with Paul in his Senate office. On the desk between the two are a couple of dozen copies of “The Art of the Deal.”
Paul, who was an outspoken critic of President Trump during the 2016 Republican presidential primary, has become a thorn in Trump’s side on the issue of repealing ObamaCare, in recent weeks calling the bill “ObamaCare Lite.”
Who can blame Paul for admiring “The Art of the Deal”? Paul’s own book, “Taking a Stand: Moving Beyond Partisan Politics to Unite America” ranks 475,473 on Amazon’s best seller list currently.
