Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said on MSNBC on Friday that it was a “good sign” that the meeting between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin went long.
However, Clapper said that the eventual length of the meeting should be “cut in half” because of the necessity for translations.
