The ad hits Michigan Senators Gary Peters and Debbie Stabenow for their opposition to the nomination of their home state judge.
The Judicial Crisis Network released a new ad on Friday backing the nomination of Michigan Supreme Court Jusitce Joan Larsen to the U.S. Court of Appeals and attacking Michigan’s Democratic Senators for holding up the nomination.
“The Michigan Chamber of Commerce, Farm Bureau, and Fraternal Order of Police all support her,” the narrator said.
The ad also touted Larsen’s endorsements from The Detroit News and The Detroit Free Press.
“She applies the law, not a political agenda,” the narrator continued.
The ad then pivots to Sens. Debbie Stabenow’s (D-MI) and Gary Peters’ (D-MI) obstruction of Larsen’s nomination.
“Why aren’t Senators Stabenow and Peters supporting her nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals? Partisan politics,” the narrator said.
The ad then implored Michigan voters to call their senators’ offices to support the nomination.
