MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough spoke highly of Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch’s performance during the second day of confirmation hearings, comparing it to something that former President Ronald Reagan would do if he ever had a confirmation hearing.
“I thought yesterday was just a masterful performance by [Gorsuch]. I thought if Ronald Reagan had ever had a confirmation hearing, it would have sounded a lot like that,” Scarborough told the panel on MSNBC’s Morning Joe about Judge Gorsuch’s performance.
Scarborough went on to say, “several years ago, everybody talked about how John Roberts, who was so remarkable in front of the Judiciary Committee. I thought Gorsuch just hit it out of the park.”
“That guy delivered a tour de force,” Scarborough concluded about Gorsuch’s performance.
