“They were mad at Kathy Griffin because she held up the head, meanwhile this is not any worse,” Joy Behar said on Monday.
The View’s Joy Behar on Monday equated comedian Kathy Griffin’s photo shoot – in which she held the severed head of President Trump – to Trump’s tweet depicting him bodyslamming the CNN logo during a segment on ABC’s “The View.”
On July 2, Trump tweeted out the controversial video:

The panel on ABC’s “The View” discussed the tweet during a segment about whether Trump’s tweeting about members of the media incites violence against them.
“They were mad at Kathy Griffin because she held up the head, meanwhile this is not any worse,” Behar told the group.
Whoopi Goldberg expressed her displeasure with Griffin’s photo shoot telling the panel, “we can all say ‘hey that’s not right.'”
It has been reported that Secret Service questioned Griffin for her controversial photo shoot.
